BMW Z4 M

The Z4M Coupe and Roadster are the fastest models in the Z4 line-up, powered by a 3.2-litre six-cylinder engine with 343bhp. Compared to other M models this may seem fairly tame but thanks to its light weight the Z4M is still thunderously quick with a 0-62mph time of 5 seconds. However it's not a particularly easy or relaxing car to drive day to day with a heavy clutch and gear change, over sensitive throttle and a crashy ride. In fact it’s difficult to justify paying the extra over the standard Z4 3.0-litre, as that is only a little slower but is easier to live with and much cheaper to buy and run. Unfortunately the Z4M doesn't live up to the standards of the other M models from BMW.

2009 Yamaha V-Star 950

To find out how this new entry performs, we accepted Star’s invite to ride it in the hilly backroads of north Georgia. A phalanx of 950s glistened under the morning sun in its four colors and two iterations: a standard version and the Tourer, the latter with a windscreen, leather-wrapped hard saddlebags and a passenger backrest.
Seeing the bike in the flesh, its styling isn’t revolutionary but is a fresher take on the traditional cruiser profile. Its proportions are nicely balanced, especially on the right side where the two-into-one exhaust anchors the flowing silhouette. Cast-aluminum wheels with polished rims are an attractive touch, with the front hoop extra visible on the right side due to the single front brake rotor. Upper fork leg covers add some butchness to the 41mm Kayaba unit, while an intentional gap in the frame below the steering head offers the impression of lightness. The 4.4-gallon fuel tank is curvaceous, and a large chrome airbox cover juts out proudly between the two cylinders. It’s all tastefully done if not ground-breaking.

Stevie Nicks Skewers Lindsay: "Get a Grip"

Los Angeles (E! Online) – As if Lindsay Lohan wasn't having a rough enough week already.

Fresh off her breakup from Samantha Ronson, her reported snubbing by Nicole Richie and Drea de Matteo and threats that she may be faced with a restraining order, she's now taking heat from the unlikeliest of Hollywood mean girls: Stevie Nicks.

The 60-year-old Fleetwood Mac singer lashed out at the 22-year-old in an interview with The New York Times. Nicks was asked about long-simmering reports that the redhead-once-more would like to buy the rights to the rocker's life and portray the singer on film.

"Over my dead body," Nicks said.

Why?

"She needs to stop doing drugs and get a grip. Then maybe we'll talk," explained Nicks, herself a recovering addict.

Guess Nicks isn't a fan of Method acting…or keeping track of her own quotes.

Two years ago, the rocker publicly praised Lohan—albeit in a backhanded sort of way—by saying she was more concerned about fellow wild child Britney Spears' behavior than the budding thesp's, saying, "I think Lindsay is a serious actress."

Lo on Lauren: Speidi Could Replace Her on The Hills

Los Angeles (E! Online) – Lo Bosworth may not want to see her best friend Lauren Conrad leave The Hills, but she does think the series can survive without her.

In fact, Lo thinks Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt could probably replace Ms. Conrad as the MTV reality show's headlining act.

"They get great press on their own, so there's always the possibility that the show can do really well with them as main parts," Bosworth told us last night at the IS vodka-sponsored opening of new Hollywood nightspot Halo.

Lo thinks, however, that season five may not end all L.C. appearances on The Hills...

"[Lauren] hasn't filmed in weeks and she's really excited about that," Lo said. "I think she'll come back for special occasions and stuff, but we just don't know how many episodes she'll return for or if there will be another season. It's really just all up in the air."

If Speidi does become the main attraction, a title change may be in order. Forget The Hills! Don't you think Divorce Court sounds so much more fun?
